The most realistic way to determine your level of English is to participate in one of the internationally recognized exams. We have compiled some of these exams for you.

TOEFL (English for a Foreign Language)

The TOEFL exam is a test conducted by the ETS (Educational Testing Service) in many centers of the world in order to measure the knowledge of non-native English speakers. It accepts the TOEFL as a proof of English levels of over 4400 universities, colleges, colleges and institutes.

The exam lasts 4 hours and 15 minutes and consists of four parts: listening, reading, speaking, writing. The highest score is 120 and you need to get at least 79. If it is a school that receives a lot of applicants, this score is 100.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

IELTS is applied in two different types: Academic (AC) and General Education (GT). Those who want to use the exam result for education purposes are ac, immigration and so on. Those who plan to use the purpose should select the GT module. Exam; listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Each section is scored as 1 or 9 in full or half and all points are considered and the overall score is calculated. In order to enter a university abroad, your score must be at least 6.5. The IELTS exam is conducted two times a month and three times a month. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 45 minutes and the validity period is 2 years. The Speaking section of the exam can be held on the day of the exam or another day.

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication)

It is the exam prepared by ETS, which develops TOEFL exam, for Business English. It is valid during the entrance or promotion of academic life. In most countries it is also accepted as a condition of admission to the university.

The whole world is recognized and applied. The exam lasts 2 hours and consists of two parts: listening and reading with 200 questions. The score is adjusted to a common scale by statistical methods. The base score is 10 and the ceiling score is 990. In order to be accepted to universities, your score must be over 500.

Pearson Academic

The Pearson Test is a new computer based English Language Test. The test accurately measures the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills of non-native English speakers who must prove their academic English proficiency.

The exam provides real measurements of the language skills of participants for universities, higher education institutions, government departments and institutions that require academic English.

The exam is completed in a single session in about three hours. An optional 10-minute stopover is available. Unlike other English exams, exam results are announced within 5 working days and are sent to schools free of charge. There is no date limit to enter the exam, the student can enter at any time. In order to be admitted to a university, you must have a minimum of 51 exams.

Cambridge University Exam

Cambridge University is one of the most recognized and valid exams in the world. Successful participants are certified by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. The exam is completely different from other language exams.

Instead of passing or passing points in the Cambridge exams. Cambridge exams are held at 5 different levels. For those who speak English at elementary level (KET- Key English Test), for those who speak intermediate level English (PET-Preliminary English Test), for those who speak English at intermediate level; (FCE- Cambridge First Certificate), exams for advanced levels (CAE-Cambridge Advanced Certificate) and professional levels (CPE-Cambridge of Proficiency in English).

In order to enter a university abroad, you must pass the CAE-Cambridge Advanced Certificate. The certificates you have received are valid for life.
